We are beginning a unit about sound. This connects to Elul and shofar.
We played many different percussion instruments.
The children created 'a real band'!
The exploration of sound will continue, as we will learn about the different types of instruments, different types of sounds, and how they make us feel.
And we will talk about the shofar in relationship to all of this.
Since I haven't blogged until now, this is what your beautiful children look like during the day.

In addition to learning our daily routine, getting to know each other, and enjoying our day, we are working on exploring and understanding our classroom. We have learned about how to use crayons, markers, and books (this really isn't as obvious as it seems).
Above all else, we are having a WONDERFUL time together.
