We are working on the sound unit, but in our daily skill building we learned about painting.
It may be obvious to us, but why to wear a smock, how to wipe the brush, and the consequence of mixing colors in the pots needed addressing.
And then creative fun ensued.
I was impressed by the variety of creative expressions which resulted from their work. There was no 'copying' and each child produced a truly remarkable and unique work of art.
I love how you're teaching them the real basics -- just what my son needs in his first introduction to school!
