Audrey had been discussing her parent's trip to Yew Nork (whether or not they were there) and wanted to see it on the map. I got a glowing globe and we enjoyed exploring the world. I was impressed because usually kids will just spin a globe round and round. The Pre-K's were fascinated to look at the different countries and think about different places, travel, and why houses aren't on the globe.
This lead to further exploration of geography. We looked at various maps, with America being of the most interest. Chicago, Seattle, and New York were the only places of profound interest, where apparently a few
Tatties had been recently.
We coupled the maps with Gak and the children enjoyed squishing locales.
And our beloved guitar.
Glowing toys. Great!
